Criminals Down with Useless Keys!

This website is a proclamation, nay a petition, to encourage the riddance of keys that we no longer use. Imagine the resources used, the money wasted, the time spent and the keyboard space used, to give us keys that are obsolete on Windows platforms. Keys like Scroll Lock and Pause|Break. Do you know what they do? Ask yourself these simple questions:

  • Does it matter to you that you have a Scroll Lock LED sitting above your numpad, serving no purpose whatsoever, next to the three buttons you rarely use (except maybe Print Screen)?
  • Does it bother you that you never figured out what SysRq actually means, and why the computer manufacturers insist on stamping it on your precious keyboard?
  • Do you ever wonder why you are shelling out more than you feel you have to on your keyboard, without being considered a tightwad?
  • Do you stay awake at night wondering whether it's the Break key that's actually causing your computer to crash?
  • Is your name Bruce?

Worry no more. If you can answer YES to any of the above questions, I urge you to join the revolution. Ban Useless Keys, surgically remove them from your keyboard, let us pave a way for a more efficient future, in the name of all that is sane and upright! Remember: It starts with a small group of people that are not afraid to say "We need a change!", before the world listens and makes that commitment. You could be the deciding factor.

I'm Seth Jeffery. Thankyou for listening.
